While the hand lettered main title on a poster for the 1928 silent film "Easy Virtue" inspired one type design (Hollywood Days JNL), the names of the cast members done in a different style inspired another.

This bold, condensed sans serif design with early Art Deco influences is also hand lettered.

Now know as Film Cast JNL, it's available in both regular and oblique versions.
