An ongoing movie review column known as the 'Critics Forum” (such as was found in the May 23, 1936 issue of The Film Daily) had a simple Art Deco monoline hand lettering of the column's name.

Redrawn digitally as Film Critic JNL, this typeface is now available in both regular and oblique versions.
