An Oct. 7, 1931 advertisement in a British trade paper for the film industry carried the unusual title 'The Bioscope Peaks of National Approval”.

Just as unusual was the hand lettering for this ad – a quirky, casual bit of novelty typography that inspired Film Preview JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.
