Hand lettering used in an ad found in the Dec. 9, 1922 issue of Motion Picture News promoting three films from Fox Studios was the basis for Film Promotion JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This extra bold sans serif design has rounded corners along with thick and thin strokes foreshadowing the upcoming Art Deco movement in typography of the 1930s and 1940s.
