In the March 12, 1952 issue of Motion Picture Daily was an advertising piece that touted the sales potential of monthly magazines. The word copy for this ad was set in a condensed sans serif stencil typeface.

Working from the limited characters avialable and expanding the character set with a new interpretation of this design, it is now available as Message Stencil JNL in both regular and oblique versions.
