An ad in the Sept. 26, 1936 issue of Motion Picture Herald for a film entitled "The President's Mystery" was unique for two reasons.

First, the story was actually based on an outline created by then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Second, the hand lettered title was an extra bold sans serif style with strong Art Deco influence.
