Pale Dry JNL
From $55 | 2 Font Family by Jeff Levine Fonts
What started out as a custom type design for a client based on a 1940s-era metal sign advertising Adanac Ginger Ale evolved into Pale Dry JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
The hand lettering is a bold sans serif 'thick and thin' design - a lettering style almost obligatory of the Art Deco era.
For a time, Adanac Ginger Ale was a direct competitor to Canadry Dry, and its name is actually 'Canada" spelled backward. "Pale Dry" is a less sweet, lighter version of more traditional ginger ale.
