A February 11, 1944 ad in Motion Picture Daily for a movie tie-in promotion between RKO Pictures and WLW Cincicinati had the lettering hand drawn in an extra bold sans serif style.

This condensed type design has a bit of a casual look to it, but still packs the punch to get your message across.
