Various ads for Universal Pictures within the Jan.-Feb. 1920 issues of Motion Picture News had promotional text hand lettered in a big, ultra bold serif typeface made with a round nib pen.

These casual and free form characters with Art Nouveau influences were redrawn into the digital typeface Round Nib Pen JNL, and are available in both regular and oblique versions.
