In the January 4, 1941 issue of Showman's Trade Review was an ad for the film "Her First Romance".  The blurb at the top of the promotional piece was set in Rockwell Condensed, part of a family designed for Monotype in 1934 under the supervision of Frank Hinman Pierpont.

Considered a monoweighted geometric slab serif, it shares some similarities with Stymie, Memphis, and Beton.

This digital interpretation is called Show Review JNL (a small homage to the magazine in which the ad appeared) and is available in both regular and oblique versions.
