Troubador
From $29 | 1 Font Family by Jeff Levine Fonts
The charm of wood type – especially in reproductions from worn specimens – is the combination of hand-crafted letters and numbers and a connection with the past.
Troubador JNL was redrawn from one such example found in a type reference book of Victorian-era designs. While some of the obvious flaws in the printed samples were corrected, others were left intact to retain the ambiance of that time period.
Only the basic alphabet and a few punctuation marks were available. Jeff Levine has added in the numbers, foreign characters, additional punctuation and necessary accents to make this a fully-functional font.
